Hi folks,

I’ve decided to run a mini-bakery and sell my sourdough bread.

I got my cottage kitchen licence in May, already sold loaves to my friends and neighbours, and am eager to start baking for you!

A bit about my bread and about my bread journey:

My starter is over 15 years old (refreshed with every feeding when I bake). I started it when wanted to make Eastern European 100% rye bread back then. I was really missing that familiar grandma's bread I loved growing up. So I started making my own: first I looked through the recipes online, tried them, and eventually, after some adjustments and modifications of those online recipes, settled with what I wanted – simple, traditional, exactly as I remembered it. It is a simple dough, but I often add sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, nuts sometimes, and even dry apricots and cranberries when make those for my friends who love that. Personally, I’m more on the traditional side with just seeds, no sweet additions, when baking for my family.

Later on, I decided to add more options. I started making white flour, whole grain, “croissant bread” – the buttery bread, not the croissants themselves. I occasionally add basil, peppers, olives, onion, roasted garlic to my bread.

I also make long fermented sourdough sandwich bread and have some people deciding to move from classic sourdough to it and they never want to switch back ;)

Making sourdough doesn’t turn me away from making fast and easy yeast bread too.

I just love making bread and find that any bread can find its lover! 

All bread I make in my own kitchen, according to my cottage kitchen licence.

I’ve been making bread for friends for quite some time, but I was never selling it. Majority of them say I should sell it, cause it is so good! Finally.. I decided to try 😊 I am both nervous and excited! New things aren’t too easy for me.

I have a dog at home, but cleanliness is my priority! I wash my hands thoroughly, never touch my dog when cooking, and he keeps away from the cooking area.

If you order a loaf from me, you’ll see his sweet face on my logo ;)

Contact me and order please 😊 I'll be happy to bake for you!

Thank you.

Love.

Yulia 😊
